About the book

When God's design becomes the foundation

Marriage is easy when two people who have found their completeness in God come together, not to fill each other's voids, but to fulfil God's shared purpose for their lives. It is the human complications, the wrong foundations, and the self-centred expectations we carry into marriage that make it hard.

Remove those, return to the Owner's manual, and the institution God designed becomes exactly what He promised it to be: good. This book is written strictly from the Word of God, with every principle, submission, and recommendation rooted in Scripture.

The human realities of marriage are real, and I respect them. But the Word of God is a higher truth, and it is from that truth that I write.

Meet the author

Stella Chinonso Adesina

Stella is a lover of God, called with a particular grace to help singles, families, and marriages align with His plan and purpose. By profession, she is a Management Consultant and Human Resources Subject Matter Expert. By calling, she is a counsellor, thought leader, and advocate for the institution of marriage.

Stella lost both of her parents as a teenager and raised four younger siblings largely on her own, an experience that shaped her deep understanding of purpose, resilience, and love that does not depend on circumstances.

She is married to Owolabi Adesina, a man she describes as the most caring and understanding man she knows. Together, they have walked through infertility, waiting, bereavement, and near-death, and remain a living testimony of God's faithfulness in marriage. They are blessed with three daughters.
